Fargo Marathon

The Fargo Marathon was this weekend. I ran the 5K on Friday night. I was pretty proud of myself for being able to run the entire route. My goal was to finish in under 40 minutes and my official time was 37.49. Julie and Lilly cheered me on. They even had a sign made. It was great. Next race: September 18, marathon relay.

Pear Trees and Garden

We planted a couple of pear trees in the yard this afternoon. Now all we need is a partridge. The pear trees even have blossoms on them, but they will not produce pears this year, and probably not next year either.

The garden is also planted. Jeff has been really busy with it "not helping". I'm not complaining though. The radishes are coming up, along with the peas and onions. We planted carrot, green beans, and cucumbers yesterday, along with some tomato, pepper and cabbage plants. Now we just have to wait for everything to grow.

New Marina and New Top for the Pontoon

It was such a nice day on Saturday, that we decided to drive up to the lake and see the new top for the pontoon and check out the new marina. The marina is REALLY nice. Our slip is going to be the first one that you get to, so that will make it nice for hauling all of our supplies back and forth. I can't wait to get the boat in the water, and I hope that this summer is going to be warmer than last summer.
